Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs
Glickman-Miller Hall, Atrium
An exhibit of works by 7th and 8th grade students from the Woodland/ E.55th neighborhood depicting socially relevant issues through the medium of printmaking.
Students chose an issue or experience that they see in their community everyday. Issues ranged from gun violence to abandoned animals and teen smoking. Through this project, students gained understanding of how art can have a message to inform and teach others. This exhibit will be on display through August 31, 2007. The students' images and reflections offer powerful insights into these youths' real life experiences.
